Massage techniques
- Tapping, brushing light massage of skin
- At the base of the skull along the inner and outer edges of the tendon that runs down the neck. Massage close to the skull pinching the tendon w/ thumb and fingers, rubbing etc.
- Stimulates large intestine meridian
- About 1 – 2 inches below (on the back) from the top of the trapezius muscles (along the top of the shoulders) about in the center between neck and shoulders (find the tender point).
- Stimulates lung meridian
- Bring together the “L” shape between the thumb and index finger, repeatedly hit them together. You can also rub this point on each hand separately.
- Stimulates both lung (thumb) and Large intestines (index finger)
- About 1 – 2 inches above the elbow (feel for tender point). Outer edge of the top of the bicep, if muscle is face up.
- About 1-2 inches below knee, outer shin (feel for tender point)
